It's 2009! Blessed New Year..

WOW! 2008 just went by in a flash. It was an interesting year for me. I have so much to cherish especially all the travelling and activities i did in 2008. That's why pictures are important. hehehe..
Well, before i welcomed in the new year, i was sitting in church during watch night service on the eve of new year. Pastor Henry was giving the word for the coming year and what we should expect to see in the new year. I was really eagered to see what's the new theme for 2009. The theme for 2008 was "New Beginnings and New Trends in taking Dominion". So, the message was all about fruitfulness despite the situations we may be in. When Pastor revealed the Message for 2009, i immediately felt excited, partially because the backdrop for 2009 had a really nice picture of Grapes, but there was a good feeling. The theme for the year is "Fruitfulness in the midst of Affliction."
May the new year bring fruitfulness to us as we seek the Lord Jesus in his righteousness. It's commonly known or rather understood that when we hear the word fruitfulness or prosper, it's always about financial blessings. But we may be fruitful in many situations such as in our families, studies, peers, marketplace, delivering the message of Jesus to all who do not know him and etc.
For the new year, I really hope to make Jesus known in my life and to show others what a blessing it is to have a father who loves us so much despite our past.
